When we were publishing our books for the first time, through Amazon KDP, we discovered there are many resources that aren’t intuitively available. For one, finding the right cover template for book is like a hunt for treasure. Sure, you will find it eventually, but who has time for all that?
So below are common book cover templates based on the dimensions of your book. We usually use 5×8, but we’ve added 6×9′ in case you want to be different.

If you have dimensions that are different from the ones we posted, Amazon KDP has a nifty calculator to help you determine the exact dimensions of your book! Just input the necessary details and tada, you get your own cover template similar to ours. Have fun creating!
